Looking for the Driver for Emagic Amt8 Pro Tools Software (Mac) version 1.0.1 (posted ) System Requirements: 10.10 (Yosemite), 10.10 (El Capitan), Intel Mac only. Fortunately I appear to have found a solution which was proposed to deal with an OS Sierra challenge: Download driver. Yes, I just bought a new (to me) Mac which had High Sierra installed and I was a little horrified when I realised it wasn't seeing my two AMT8/Unitor8 boxes. I was having the same problem and it fixed it for me. I have found better In all versions of Mac OS before my connected AMT 8 was detected and the driver was installed automatically over the App Store. The first box in my chain is a Unitor, then five AMT8's. It works pretty well, although it does drop the midi chain from time to time. As far as I know, this driver should work with both Unitors and AMT8's. I have a Mac Pro 3.0, and I'm using the emagic USB Midi Driver version 1.5.
